Tracy Muklewicz, MS Ed, NCC, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and a Nationally Certified Counselor, and the owner/founder of Insight Therapeutics, Inc. Tracy founded Insight as a practice to be developmentally attuned, attachment-oriented, and insurance friendly, recognizing a clear need for these characteristics in the Chicagoland area and beyond. Tracy enjoys working with clients of all ages, children (ages 2+) through adults. Her areas of expertise include various types of play therapy, Theraplay, and EMDR. She has experience in a wide variety of concerns such as depression and anxiety, major life changes and transitions, trauma, and attachment-related concerns. Tracy's therapeutic orientation can be described as a solid integration of cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic theory to help create change. Tracy not only helps address your needs, she can help uncover the foundations of those challenges so that you can become effective in creating and maintaining lasting change beyond your time in therapy. She has extensive skills in utilizing play, art, drama, music, narrative, EMDR and sand tray therapies to help effect change in interactive ways. Clients describe her as a balance of playful, engaging, and direct while maintaining compassion and safety. Tracy is skilled at reaching the most reluctant of clients in a way to maximize their sense of safety and engagement. Tracy is an LGBTQIA+ friendly therapist, and enjoys working with clients of all ages along the gender and sexual orientation spectrum as well.
