Fees & Insurance

• Fees vary by service provided, and range from $40 - $ 250 depending on type and length of service.

• For self-pay clients, Individual Therapy is provided at $170 per 50 minute session, Family Therapy is provided at $150 per 50 minute session.  Usual and customary rates reimbursed by out-of-network managed care contracts vary.

Financial Hardship:

• Limited sliding fee services are available based on need.  
• Individualized payment plans are available.

Payment:

Insight Therapeutics, Inc. accepts cash, check, and all major credit cards (including HSA and FSA cards.)  We are in full compliance with electronic microchip, Samsung, and Apple Pay starting October 1, 2015.

Cancellation/Missed Appointment Policies:

Your time is reserved for services for you and is valuable!  If you are unable to attend your appointment, 24 hours notice is required to avoid being charged for your appointment time.  If you do not attend your appointment and do not provide proper notice, you are charged $50 for the first missed appointment, $100 for the second missed appointment, and $150 for the third and any subsequent missed appointments.

• United Behavioral Health/United Healthcare HMO and PPO
• Optum HMO and PPO
• Aetna PPO
• First Health Network PPO

HMO Clients:  While we are contracted with primarily PPO plans, there are certain circumstances where we may be able to obtain coverage through your HMO plan. Please call to discuss your specific needs and how we can help advocate for additional coverage!

EAP Services:  Many companies offer Employee Assistance Program services to their employers and immediate family members, including adult children.  Contact your Human Resources to inquire about requesting EAP services, and be sure to mention you're interested in seeing a therapist at Insight Therapeutics, Inc.  We'd be happy to consider contracting with your company's EAP provider.

Don't see your insurance company listed?  No problem!

A number of insurance carriers have their mental health services provided by a different carrier.  For example, if you have TriCare insurance, they may actually have Aetna provide their mental health benefits, in which case Insight Therapeutics, Inc. would be covered. With your permission, we'll speak to your insurance prior to beginning services to help you understand coverage with your own personal plan.

Insight Therapeutics is an insurance-friendly practice! We'll apply to be paneled on your insurance plan (if an option) to help meet your needs for coverage.  We strive to make therapy accessible and sustainable for all clients, regardless of their managed care plan.  We can also help you with tips and ways to work with your insurance company along the way.

Please note: Certain services (such as travel costs for consultation, extensive clinical reports, teacher consultations, or school meeting attendance, for example) are not typically reimbursed by any managed care plans.  Alternative fee arrangements are available to address these costs.  Insight Therapeutics is unable to bill Medicaid, Medicare, All Kids, or Family Care.  Plans that are managed Medicaid plans in Illinois (such as Blue Cross Community Options) are considered Medicaid-based plans which unfortunately we're unable to bill. In situations where we are unable to bill your insurance plan (and also unable to join the network), a sliding fee rate may be an option.  Please note that clients who are offered a sliding fee are unable to submit their costs for care to their in or out-of-network insurance benefits in most cases.  Your clinician will address this with you on a case-by-case basis.
